At the 2020 Canadian International Autoshow, Acura's strategy relied heavily on digital. Front and center in this digital initiative were our AR Vehicle Configuration app, and our Acura Grand Prix VR racing game.

The configuration app allowed attendees to customize a fully 3D, world-anchored AR representation of a 2020 NSX with their preferred features, and then save the configuration to their account. From there, attendees could then sign into our Acura Grand Prix VR game, and race with their customized vehicles in order to compete for top times at the show. The race featured both a beginner and advanced mode, allowing more experienced drivers to race with paddle shifters, and with a more realistic car physics model.

At the end of the experience, a personalized takeaway of their car crossing the finish line would be emailed to the attendee, thanking them for visiting the 2020 CIAS Acura experience.
